Veil of Vines

A Story in Paint: The New Mural at Holland Brooks

At Holland Brooks, we believe every detail of our space should tell a story. From the historic bones of the Dixie Furniture building to the carefully curated design of our event venue and distillery, each element reflects a journey of transformation. Now, our latest addition—the stunning mural in our courtyard—brings that story to life in a breathtaking way.

A Symbol of Transformation

The mural, an awe-inspiring piece of art, features the serene yet powerful face of a woman intertwined with delicate vines and blooming flowers. This imagery is deeply symbolic, representing the metamorphosis of our space from an overgrown, neglected building into a vibrant destination for celebrations, craftsmanship, and community. Just as the mural’s vines weave through the composition, our history and future are interwoven, creating something beautiful and enduring.

The Vision Behind the Art

Owners Michael and Maria Tesh commissioned Greensboro native Brian Lewis (jeks_nc) which was their 2nd collaboration. The NC native is one of the top spray paint muralist in the world, with works and awards in multiple countries.

A New Landmark for Lexington

More than just an artistic feature, this mural is set to become a focal point for guests, couples, and visitors alike. Whether serving as a romantic backdrop for wedding portraits, a striking centerpiece for event photography, or simply a conversation starter during a distillery tour, its presence adds an unforgettable touch to the Holland Brooks experience.

We invite you to come see it for yourself. Stand before the mural, take in its intricate details, and let it remind you of the power of transformation—of places, of dreams, and of moments worth celebrating.

Holland Brooks continues to evolve, and this mural is just one more step in our journey. We can’t wait to share it with you.
